M&A Analyst/ M&A Associate

Your mission

Support the deal teams during the entire transaction process for the acquisition of projects and in the due diligence processes for new investments or financing schemes
Developing and reviewing sophisticated financial models / discounted cash flow valuations / scenario analysis and summarizing results in a clear and effective manner
Ensure the quality and consistency of complex financial models and financial valuation of investment opportunities
Responsible for producing the investment recommendation presentations (investment memorandums) for internal investment committees
Support in preparing non-binding and binding offers

Your profile

Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields
Alternatively: Business Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Experience – 2/3 years with at least 1 year in renewable energy experience with a developer, IPP, lender, (M&A) advisor, and/or utility
Having done sell-side or buy-side M&A transactions or debt financing
Familiarity with commercial, financial, loan and equity products
Experience in financial modelling
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
Preferably residing in Berlin or willing to relocate
